Futurebuild is the evolution of ecobuild and the vision for the future, announced after the acquisition of the event in 2016. The event unites the leading product-innovators and decision makers from the built environment. It aims to explore the latest technologies, approaches and issues. This is brought to life through six Futurebuild Hubs, dedicated platforms for industry-specific conversations.
At Futurebuild 2019, the organisers will be introducing a new area focused entirely on the future of Urban Infrastructure. It will play a pivotal role through a new, dedicated Hub. This aims to meet the demand of the almost 6,000 visitors who attended last year with a specific interest in blue, green, grey and social infrastructure solutions. The Urban Infrastructure Hub will showcase all aspects of the city, apart from the buildings themselves. From the biophilic city to landscaping, water management to biodiversity, the Hub will be an arena for big thinking and innovative solutions.
Across the three-day event (05-07 March 2019), the Urban Infrastructure Hub will play host to a wide range of informative seminars, covering everything around infrastructure, water, urban greening, the public realm and well-being.
It’s not just conversation that will be happening across the Urban Infrastructure Hub, though. These seminar sessions will be complemented by a vast exhibition space, featuring new product launches from leading brands in Urban Infrastructure, including Ronacrete, ACO, Biotecture, Green-Tech and many more. Also new for 2019 is the City Walk, within which manufacturers from across the built environment will display their blue, green, grey and social infrastructure solutions. BALI is currently in discussion with organisers to participate within the City Walk.
The Urban Infrastructure Hub, and five other exhibition Hubs, will surround the central ecobuild conference, which sits at the heart of Futurebuild 2019. This ideas arena will challenge the industry to ‘think the unthinkable’ with a programme of inspiring speakers and game-changing discussions – all focused on examining and sparking action on the most important, far-reaching societal and environmental issues.
With over 26,500 decision-makers from across the built environment descending on Futurebuild to learn about the latest products, find solutions and collaborate around delivering improved results, innovative brands have an unparalleled opportunity to forge relationships with decision-makers and budget-holders.
From the largest headline partner, to the smallest start-up exhibitor, everyone involved in Futurebuild 2019 plays a critical role in shaping a better future.
