Job Title: General Manager
Location: East Staffordshire – Burton
Salary: Dependent on skills and competences, includes benefits package.
We require a General Manager to take responsibility for the East Staffordshire Borough Council, Cannock Chase District Council, Trent & Dove Housing and other clients in the Staffordshire area. The role is based at the East Staffordshire depot and reports directly to the Assistant Operations Director.
The role will have overall management responsibility for the contract; acting as the main point of contact for senior client officers across all three client organisations. Day to day responsibilities will include operational delivery according to specification, financial/budgetary control, Health & Safety compliance and people management.
We are looking for an individual who is proficient in the use of MS Office especially Word and Excel with a motivated and enthusiastic approach to work. Previous management experience is essential; along with a proven track record of success in the areas specified above e.g. Financial management. The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator with the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a senior management team.
