RHS Garden Rosemoor Flower Show returns bigger and better for 2018

North Devon is getting ready to welcome a floral extravaganza as the RHS Garden Rosemoor Flower Show returns for its second year from Friday 17 to Sunday 19 August, following the success of its inaugural show in 2017. This year’s Flower Show, sponsored by Atkins Ferrie Wealth Management, will be even bigger and better, with dozens of specialist nurseries, a beautiful floral display trail and a visit from celebrity Floral Designer Jonathan Moseley on his British Flower Bus.

As well as a programme of talks and demonstrations, visitors to the Flower Show can enjoy the 65 acres of gardens at the height of summer, including the spectacular Hot Garden which is at its brightest and boldest in August. With a wealth of summer gardening inspiration to be found all around the garden, the RHS Advisory and Plant Finder team will be on hand throughout the Flower Show to help shoppers track down their favourite plants for their own plots.

The Floral Display Trail, found in shelters around the garden, will feature displays themed around the tales of Beatrix Potter by five North Devon floristry clubs, who will give flower-arranging demonstrations every day. Jonathan Moseley will also invite show-goers to board the British Flower Bus and learn how to use home-grown blooms to create beautiful floral arrangements.

Rosemoor’s expert gardeners will also host both a question and answer session and the Flower Show Breakfast, when visitors can enjoy a delicious meal to start the day and early access to the show on Friday 17 and Saturday 18 August (must be booked in advance).

Alongside the Flower Show, a range of fun activities for children will make a visit to the Rosemoor Flower Show a great day out for all the family. The crew from Entertainingly Different will be teaching circus skills for all ages in the Copse play area, or go on the hunt for prehistoric plants on the Jurassic Discovery trail – looking out for dinosaurs on the way.
