UK growers meet and collaborate at the forefront of nursery management software development: The 3rd WinTree UK User Forum 2017 from TSD

Nine of the most forward-thinking nurseries met last week (13 June 2017) in Ullesthorpe, Leicestershire, eager to hear the latest developments within their nursery management software, WinTree. Developed by TSD International, WinTree software is recognised in the UK and across Europe as the most intuitive, flexible and comprehensive software package available, designed and continually improved specifically for and in liaison with, horticultural and trading nurseries.

A rare opportunity to discuss, share and collaborate with other growers outside of their everyday production realms, this is the third UK WinTree User Forum and has now become a welcome addition to their business development calendars. Representatives from established users Boningale and Crowders joined more recent adopters of the WinTree software, Nicholsons and Cheviot. There were also two new clients who will be making their first steps to WinTree this Summer, using the Forum as the perfect platform to further explore their new software’s potential and to quiz other users.

With a general update in the morning session, sharing unique nuances of the WinTree software that users may not already have been aware of, the afternoon was given to outlining new developments that are either already available or are planned in this year’s and next year’s updates, including remote scanning and stock taking, app-based functions and the ground-breaking online marketplace – TreeCommerce. The planning module, already in use at some nurseries, garnered a high level of interest around the Forum.  This module enables a live calendar view of all forthcoming deliveries, loads and incoming goods – a real-time, accurate digital version of the whiteboards we see in most nurseries that updates automatically with the latest information from WinTree transactions.

Lindsay Singh from Nicholsons Nurseries said: “Another refreshing show of support for UK WinTree users by the TSD team, and a superb opportunity to explore in greater depth the power of WinTree software for our business (and compare notes with other UK users!)”

The WinTree UK User Forum is one of a number of initiatives aimed at developing communication and sharing ideas within the UK horticultural market for TSD International, a Dutch software solutions company with over 35 years presence in the UK horticultural market.
