TigerTurf strengthens UK operations

TigerTurf

TigerTurf UK has strengthened its sales force, with the appointment of Simon Clare as sales and account manager for the South.

With over a decade of experience in the sport surfaces industry, Simon was previously the multi-sport project development manager for Notts Sport Ltd. During this time he was responsible for delivering projects from start to finish, including customer relations, feasibility studies, planning, and tendering. This has seen Simon garner a wealth of experience and expertise in artificial grass installations.

In his new role at TigerTurf, Simon will be responsible for managing a number of contracts, and developing existing and new relationships in order to achieve annual sales targets. Day-to-day, Simon will not only be liaising with consultants, specifiers, architects, but also the end users – an area in which his past experience will prove invaluable.

Simon Clare commented: “The artificial grass market is rapidly growing, and TigerTurf are leading the field. This makes it a very exciting time to be joining the team.

“With my previous history selling, specifying and supplying synthetic surfaces, my main focus is to spend time with customers, and understand their needs and requirements, in order to best match them with the specialist solutions TigerTurf are renowned for.”

Paul Langford, managing director at TigerTurf added: “With a proven track record and a wealth of industry knowledge, we’re very pleased to be welcoming Simon to the team.”
