Tender: Ground Preparation

The Forestry Commission seek to award up to a medium term contract with two lots to contractors who can demonstrate the experience, technical ability (all machine operators must have FMOCS), quality and reliability coupled with cost effective pricing and operational capacity to provide ground preparation through out Galloway.  Locations will be provided within the tender documentation.

The estimated contract value is in the region of £300,000 over 3 years per lot, giving a total value of £600,000 over 3 years for the total contract.

The estimated contract volume of each lot is 150ha per year (450ha over 3 years) throughout Galloway Forest District. The total contract volume is 300ha per year (900ha over 3 years).
