Paysalia – The “must” show for landscape, garden and sports ground professionals

The fifth edition of Paysalia returned to Eurexpo, Lyon, France from December 5 to 7, 2017. All professionals, suppliers, individuals, Public Authority representatives, managers and specifiers in the field of landscape, garden and sports grounds were invited to share their views on the challenges facing the sector and present their latest innovations. Today Paysalia is without doubt the top dedicated trade fair in France.

Paysalia is an exceptional event bringing together over 650 exhibitors active in the landscape sector. For three days, participants took part in meetings, conferences and events on priority topics.

Principal debates included the development of urban biodiversity, landscape and environments and changes in methods. Paysalia is the place to build networks, learn about the latest innovations and participate in several contests. Dedicated to professionals, the show program featured a host of activities including the Paysalia Innovations area, the Paysalia Innovations Trophies and the Wellgreen route proposing solutions and services dedicated to sports ground and sports equipment and other routes dedicated to watering, nurseries and indoor landscaping.

Lastly, the 2017 “Carré des Jardiniers” competition gives pride of place to health and well-being with the theme “The good care of Doctor Garden”. The finalists presented their concepts and gardens to an exceptional jury of professionals, representatives of the media and famous artists. The winner was awarded the coveted title of “Master Gardener 2017” at the show. From the outset, the basic idea behind Paysalia has been to make Landscape, Garden and Sports Ground professionals primary actors in the development of their sector. It aims to bring together users and suppliers from all over Europe to discuss subjects like innovations in methods for the creation and maintenance of public and private parks and gardens. Paysalia also supports the French landscaping sector’s commitment to and participation in debates of interest to the market. Unep President Catherine Muller, says that: “And last, but not least, Paysalia unveils innovations to everyone directly or indirectly involved in outdoor works like originators, works superintendents and major order givers. It is the sector’s ‘must’ show – ideal for meeting each other
and adding new names to address books”.

According to show Director Noémi Petit: “Paysalia is the leading sector show, supported by all sector professionals. The key words for the show are innovation, sharing and friendliness. It also defends Landscapers, Gardeners and Sports Ground Keepers and is committed to imagining ‘Green cities for tomorrow’s world'”.

In 2015, Paysalia attracted over 18,000 visitors – a great success. In 2017, the show was even bigger, with more stands – and even more international input.
