Love Your Garden: NHS Special

love

Another series of Love Your Garden with Alan Titchmarsh has returned. To kick it off, Alan and his team get together for their biggest ever project: to create a garden for The Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital to mark the 70th anniversary of the NHS.

This colossal effort is in response to a letter from a young patient who was a victim of the nearby Manchester Arena bombing. With no outdoor space for patients, families and staff to relax, Alan and his team decided to fulfil this patients request and build a garden for the whole hospital to enjoy.

Decori have always helped ITV’s Love Your Garden and the amazing gardens they create for incredible people. However this was a project like no other, needing to design, create manufacture and install something big, spectacular and something the NHS, Manchester and the whole country can be proud of.

The Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital is the biggest single site children’s hospital in the country. They have helped, not only the victims of the Ariana Grande concert bombings just over a year ago, but thousands of children every day.

The Love Your Garden team, with a little help from Decori, transform a vast empty area in front of the hospital. This new garden is now bigger than all of the domestic gardens created by Love Your Garden in the last series put together.

The show will air 8pm, Tuesday 22 May 2018 on ITV1
