Paxman Landscapes planting for wildlife at University of York

  Paxman Landscapes are on site this September at the University of York Environment building, creating wildlife-friendly havens around the campus.  Working with client Morgan Sindall, the team are responsible for the soft landscaping elements around the building and environs, adding wildflower turf and pre-seeded matting.  The newly-landscaped sections will be complete by the end of the month and will start to thrive and flourish in spring 2016. The Environment Building, the University’s £12 million investment project, is due for completion this year and will house purpose-built teaching, office and laboratory facilities. Ground Control provide landscaping to newly opened Alexandra Road Park

Last Thursday 3rd September saw the official opening of Alexandra Road Park, where award-winning landscapers, Ground Control, proudly took on the landscaping works as part of a regeneration project funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund, the first of its type to be connected with a residential development. The neighbourhood park in South Hampstead, sits on the Alexandra and Ainsworth housing estate between Abbey Road and Loudon Road. Bournville Village Landscapes awarded its first landscaping contract

  The team behind Bournville’s award-winning parks and open spaces has secured its first landscaping contract for a new student accommodation scheme. Bournville Village Landscapes, part of Bournville Village Trust, will manage the landscaped areas of Athena Studios in Selly Oak after being awarded the £22,000 contract by Torsion Group. The £10.4 million complex is being built on the site of the former Bristol Road Ambulance Station by Torsion Group and will be made up of 259 apartments. Paragon Junior Rangers stamp out boredom with Quadron in Holland Park

Each August, Quadron Services client, Paragon Community Housing Group, runs a three-week ‘Stamp out Boredom’ project for young people aged 12 to 18 years old. The project has different activities each year to help the young people have fun, learn new skills work as a team and ‘stamp out boredom’ over the summer holidays. Ground Control develop Lantra Invasives Species qualification

  Ground Control, the UK’s fastest growing external service provider, has developed a Level 2 Lantra Awards qualification on identification and control of Invasive Species, such as Japanese Knotweed and Giant Hogweed. Southwark’s Nunhead cemetery benefits from RHS re-use scheme

  An enthusiastic team of corporate volunteers from Burberry UK visited Southwark’s Nunhead Cemetery on 22nd July to install hedging that was donated from this year’s Hampton Court Flower Show under the RHS Re-use Scheme. Colleagues from Burberry spent three hectic days helping the Quadron team break down and collect materials from the show gardens in the days after the RHS Hampton Court Flower Show.
