Stanley Park receives multi-million pound revamp

Stanley Park is looking amazing following a multi-million pound makeover. A £3.2m project has been completed to give the park a makeover, on top of the £14m investment made between 2007 and 2009. This investment included the restoration of Isla Gladstone Conservatory. The work that has been done is also a key part in the £260m Anfield Project regeneration scheme. It has put new life into the world-famous landmark, making it a place everybody needs to see. ISS wins Arun District Council greenspace contract

By outlining a firm commitment to invest in key green spaces within Arun and create training opportunities for local people, ISS Facility Services Landscaping has been awarded the Council’s ten year Greenspace Management contract. The contract, which will run from 1 January 2017 to 31 March 2027, will include upkeep of parks, cemeteries and outdoor recreation facilities, along with repairs and maintenance to more than 70 play areas. ISS Landscaping employees, officers of The Highland Council and staff from social enterprise The Wise Group gathered together in Inverness to mark ISS Facility Services Landscaping’s sixth year of delivering amenity grass cutting services to The Highland Council and to celebrate the success of the contract which includes continued investment to the local community. The Landscape Group wins playground repair and maintenance contract

The Landscape Group (TLG) has been appointed by Bournemouth Borough Council to undertake the repair and maintenance works on 64 public play areas spread across the borough. TLG will undertake all the maintenance, repair and replacement of playground equipment, street furniture, safety surfacing, access paths and fencing. The contract commences on 23rd May 2016 and TLG are looking forward to working together with the Borough on this scheme for the coming 5 years.

West Kensington park reopens after refurbishment works by The Landscape Group

A small West Kensington park has re-opened to the public after refurbishment works have been completed by The Landscape Group (TLG). This has given this charming and much-loved green space a new lease of life just in time for spring. Gwendwr Gardens opened in 1949 after being gifted to what was then Fulham Council by the Gunter Estate as a memorial to those residents from West Kensington who died in the bombings of the Second World War. The Landscape Group wins grounds maintenance contract for Colchester Borough Homes’ grounds

Colchester Borough Council has awarded the new contract for the maintenance of its and Colchester Borough Homes’ grounds. Eight companies took part in the initial tender process, with The Landscape Group (TLG) emerging as the winner; the new contract lasting until October 2023. The existing contract expires at the end of March and, as with other public sector bodies, contracts are regularly reviewed and put up for tender. Quadron Services teams up with South West Trains to support Malden Manor Community Project

South West Trains and green space management company, Quadron Services, have created a new pocket community garden next to Malden Manor Station in the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames in support of the Malden Manor Community Project.
