Glendale provide grounds maintenance to one of the UK’s largest schools

  National green services company, Glendale, has been awarded a contract to maintain the grounds at the Nottingham Academy. The Nottingham Academy spans three sites in Nottingham and can cater for up to 3,600 pupils aged 3 to 19.  It is part of the Greenwood Dale Foundation Trust group of 27 academies. Glendale will provide grounds maintenance services to the Academy including gang mowing, line marking, shrub and hedge cutting and weed control.   Blakedown has received great feedback following the completion of landscaping works at Steeple Memorial Gardens in time for the British Royal Legion’s Commemoration for the battle of Gallipoli.   National green services company, Glendale, is supporting Chesterfield residents by helping them in their gardens. The garden assistance scheme is offered to council housing tenants for a small charge. As part of the scheme, Glendale supports 160 households in the borough by cutting grass and trimming hedges for residents who are elderly or have a disability. Glendale lays groundwork for new apprenticeships

Green services specialist Glendale is helping to spearhead the development of a new nationwide apprenticeship scheme for the arboriculture, horticulture and forestry industries under the Government’s Trailblazer scheme. Glendale is partnering with Bartlett Tree Experts and leading industry names including the British Association of Landscape Industries, the Forestry Commission, the Arboriculture Association and the Horticulture Trades Association, to develop draft standards for the new apprenticeship scheme.
