Glendale gives community space a special makeover

  A team from specialist green services company Glendale has breathed new life into a community space, as part of celebrations marking the company’s 25th anniversary. The Community 25 initiative saw tenants from one of Glendale’s housing clients, the Sutton Housing Partnership, invited to nominate a deserving resident to receive a free garden makeover to the value of £1,500. But instead of selecting just one garden, tenants chose to put forward a communal space to be overhauled, so that the improvements could benefit more residents. OCS renew maintenance contract with Chepstow Community Hospital

  The Aneurin Bevan University Health Board, and SPV company Kintra, have confirmed that OCS will continue to provide a total facilities management (TFM) service to Chepstow Community Hospital until 2020. OCS, which provides maintenance and engineering services, patient and retail catering, domestic cleaning, housekeeping, reception and switchboard, portering, laundry and grounds and waste management, has provided all FM services to the hospital since it opened in 2000. Chepstow Community Hospital was developed under the Government’s Private Finance Initiative, bringing a new approach to the provision of care by delivering primary, community and secondary care from one location. Glendale awarded horticultural maintenance contract at landfilll restoration project

Glendale has been awarded the contract to provide horticultural maintenance services to the recently completed landfill restoration project at a former East Lancashire chemical plant in Hapton. The national green services provider will undertake a range of services including the management of wildflower meadows and a new woodland on the former William Blythe Chemical Works site which was the base for chemical manufacture from the late-1800’s until 2006. Glendale keep Forestry Commission sites accessible for all

  National green services company, Glendale, has been awarded a one-year contract to keep 12 country parks in tip-top condition on behalf of the Forestry Commission. The £10,000 programme of work will see Glendale providing grass cutting and vegetation management services to the sites that are located across Merseyside and Wigan. The contract commenced on the 1st April and will ensure that the popular sites are kept accessible all year round, keeping pathways wide and the picnic areas clean and tidy. Glendale maintains £40m sustainable student village

National green services company, Glendale, has been providing grounds maintenance services to the student village at the University of Bradford since 1st April 2015.   It is that time of year again and the RHS have invited Quadron Services back to partner with them for their innovative re-use scheme. The scheme aims to reuse as much of the plants and landscape materials from this year’s show gardens as possible, and distribute these materials to local community gardens and similar projects. Quadron awarded five-year contract extension with Teignbridge District Council

  Quadron Services is extremely pleased to have been awarded a five-year extension to its grounds maintenance contract with Teignbridge District Council. The contract, originally awarded in December 2010 for five years, will now continue to 30 November 2020, with the addition of maintenance to Teignbridge’s cemeteries and 21 closed churchyards, which was previously carried out by the Council’s in-house team. Two members of staff will transfer to Quadron from the Council to support this additional work.
