Gavin Jones High Guns attend Incentives FM Group’s charity event supporting Scotty’s Little Soldiers

Gavin Jones took part in Incentive FM Group’s annual clay pigeon shoot which raised well over £10,000 for ‘Scotty’s Little Soldiers’.

Scotty’s Little Soldiers was established in 2009 by Army widow Nikki Scott, who sadly lost her husband Cpl Lee Scott whilst serving in Afghanistan. The charity raises money for bereaved British Armed Forces children and their mission statement is to ‘Help Their Children Smile’.

The event took place on Tuesday 5 September at EJ Churchill Shooting Ground in High Wycombe. Amongst those in attendance were Stuart Robinson and Kate Dring from the charity organization, who described the fantastic work taking place at the charity, the importance of Corporate Partners and their fundraising efforts.

The Gavin Jones team made up of Jacob, Andy, Bill, Simon and Tony called themselves ‘Archies Artillery’. after the founder of our company Col. Archibald Nelson Gavin Jones. We are delighted to announce that the team won first place and Andy was awarded ‘High Gun’ for highest scoring male.

Bill Davidson, GJ health and safety manager commented: “We are absolutely delighted to have been invited to participate in Incentive FM’s Charity Event. With our founders military history and with 140 staff working on MOD sites we are keen to support a charity as worthy as Scottys Little Soldiers. The day was also great fun and we were very pleased to have been the winning team. Thanks to EJ Churchhill’s for hosting and for coaching the novice shooters.”

Incentive FM chairman Jeremy Waud said: “Yet again, the charity clay pigeon shoot was a fantastic and fun event and we are thrilled to have raised over £10,000 for Scotty’s Little Soldiers, which is a very worthy cause.”
