Collaborations at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2018

collaborations

Celebrating 58 years exhibiting at RHS Chelsea Flower Show, award-winning Alitex Greenhouses has made collaborations with internationally renowned interior designers Sims Hilditch at this year’s show.

Sharing a similar ethos of valuing and championing classic English design with an enduring sense of elegance, Alitex and Sims Hilditch present a perfectly aligned collaboration. Using two of the greenhouses from Alitex’s National Trust greenhouse collection, together they will create a stunning garden setting that bridges both interior and exterior worlds.

This year, the garden space will be designed by RHS Young Garden Designer of the Year 2017 finalist Jake Curley; another exciting collaboration celebrating emerging talent. Jake’s stylish courtyard garden which will celebrate the plants of the season, will be perfectly complemented by the subtle interior colour palette of teal, soft green and pink. Drawing from the inspiration of the garden, Belgian linen, English oak and crumbling terracotta will feature heavily alongside some beautiful vintage items.

Alitex will be exhibiting their stunning Scotney and Ickworth greenhouses from their National Trust Greenhouse collection. Both structures; the smallest and largest in the range offer a practical, accessible, growing space, with all the timeless aesthetic qualities of an original heritage structure.

Tom Hall, managing director of Alitex says: “RHS Chelsea Flower Show is a huge part of our heritage; we have been exhibiting there on Main Avenue for 58 years now. We have won the Five Star Gold Trade Stand award on many occasions, along with the Director General’s Favourite Trade Stand award in 2016 and Best Trade Stand award in 2015. Collaborating with an interior design house as highly esteemed as Sims Hilditch is hugely exciting for us. I cannot wait to explore the ways in which we can elevate our greenhouse experience even further this year.”
