Christian Wilson, a partner and the head of the Truro Corporate and Commercial team at Stephens Scown Solicitors, has been appointed a non-executive director on the board of Eden Project Ltd.
Christian has more than 20 years’ experience in advising clients on business matters and in particular employee ownership. Christian holds a Master of Laws (LLM) from the University of Plymouth Business School.
He also has a keen interest in supporting his local community, acting as chair of both I-sight Cornwall and the Sir William Matthews Pension Fund.
Christian Wilson and his wife live in West Cornwall and when the opportunity arises he will be found out on a surfboard, a boat or running the coast path.
He said: “I am delighted to join the board of Eden. Like many other people I followed the development of Eden in awed admiration and have visited many times. Not only is it a very special place, but its reach beyond Cornwall is extraordinary. To be part of a force for good on a global scale based here in Cornwall is inspirational.”
Judith Donovan, non-executive chair of Eden Project Ltd, said: “I am so pleased that Christian is to join us; our relationships with Cornwall are very important to us as is our charitable mission and Christian ticks both those boxes so well.”
