Cameron Landscapes & Gardens relaunch with new website

cameron

Cameron Landscapes & Gardens was set up by Alasdair Cameron in 1992 with a vision of creating a 360 degree garden design, build and maintenance company, Today Cameron Gardens is exactly that, an award-winning, fully integrated garden service with a reputation for designing, building and maintaining distinctive, yet practical, domestic and commercial gardens. Such a practice requires a state of the art, modern, engaging and user friendly website.

Central to the company’s ethos is a shared passion for gardens, customer service and quality of finish. Each team member is highly skilled, expertly trained and experienced in their specific area.  For Alasdair and the team it’s about creating inspirational gardens which provide clients with beautiful and atmospheric garden spaces that are both practical and functional.

Over the last few years the practice has grown significantly and the type and scale of projects has changed. The vast majority now constitute high end, high quality schemes within London and   beyond the home counties. Alasdair has always been passionate about country gardens so it was natural to extend further focus to this exciting and already established sector of the business. An increase in the number of commercial projects has also lead to an expansion of that area. With this in mind the existing website seemed no longer to reflect either the image of the practice or the spread of work that they currently do.

The brief for the agency was to come up with a design that was clean, easy to navigate, clear in its messaging and showing the spread of the Cameron Gardens offering. Clients of all types are very design focused and the site needed to be beautiful with stunning images shot by professional garden photographers and reflect the working relationships that Cameron Gardens have with     interior designers, architects and property management companies.

Web design pitches came from three agencies and James Middleton Creative were clear winners because their vision for the website was 100 percent in line with Alasdair’s, whose vision for the future is to increase the number of larger domestic and commercial clients and a stylish functional website is a key tool in delivering this.

Jamie Middleton tells us: “My brief from Cameron Landscapes & Gardens was to design and build a website to showcase the varied stunning gardens and outdoor spaces that they create. The new site uses the company’s beautiful photography and offers more detail on individual projects than the previous one Each of the main business sectors are clearly signposted and expert services better outlined, thus making for a more user friendly site. The look and feel of the site is completely in sync with the newly updated logo. Overall the feel is of a more contemporary, inspirational site for an award-winning garden practice.”

MD Alasdair is vociferous in his support of his team whom he says are all instrumental to the success of the business. Cameron Garden’s has a reputation of retaining their clients not just for a few years but through the generations in many instances. Alasdair still is very much involved in every aspect – design, build and maintenance and many clients hire the firm for precisely these reasons – family feel with an international perspective.
