CCLA A Family Garden

Designed to be an all-inclusive, safe family area that’s ideal for relaxing, entertaining, and connecting with nature, A Family Garden featured varied levels of paving which invited visitors to meander and explore the structural and informal planting.

Bradstone provided Manzano® porcelain paving in Pearl for the central pavilion which formed a covered dining area, ideal for bringing families together. Alongside the Pearl hues, Bradstone’s Manzano® paving in Black was used as dark vertical elements to raise the pavilion and create a floating illusion for a clean and contemporary feel.

Amanda Waring, garden designer for Catfoot Designs, comments: “We’re delighted to be awarded the Silver Gilt medal at such a prestigious show. Laura and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience of designing an inclusive and exciting garden, offering a space where families can feel safe and relaxed. It was also important that we produced a garden that visitors felt inspired to recreate themselves, and Bradstone’s Manzano paving can be used in any garden, large or small.”

Andrew Singleton, sales director for Bradstone, comments: “We’re very proud to have been involved in the show garden. Amanda and Laura have created a garden design that is truly accessible and interesting for both adults and children, helping them to connect with each other and nature.”

“The Bradstone products used in the design not only highlighted the versatility of our product range, but also features the impressive capabilities of Bradstone Assured Installers. A Family Garden showcased our Manzano range at its very best and illustrated how porcelain paving can be perfect for high footfall paths and for pairing with garden furniture to shape stunning outdoor spaces.”

Manzano from Bradstone incorporates a distinctive and varied colour blend to create the ultra-contemporary appearance of polished concrete. Being porcelain, the paving offers exceptional strength and durability with no colour fading.
