BALI to launch Professional Designer Webinar Series

webinar

The British Association of Landscape Industries (BALI) announces a brand new series of webinars, designed to support Garden Designers and Landscape Architects.

Following the first successful ‘Let There Be Light’ designer event held at Mulberry Plants in March, BALI is delighted to reveal its Professional Designer Webinar Series, starting with ‘Setting up a Design Practice’ on Wednesday 9 May 2018.

Just completed a degree or decided to go it alone? Wondering about what you need to do next? What is involved in setting up a design practice? What are the benefits of being a sole trader, limited company, or partnership? What are the legal and professional requirements and how best do you win work?
BALI’s webinar panel of successful designers will discuss their routes to practice: the practicalities, pit falls and tips for success. With opportunities to ask questions from the comfort of your own computer, this is a great opportunity to hear it from those who have trodden the path and learnt by mistakes and mentors along the way.
Registration for this exclusive online event opens on Thursday 19 April and numbers will be limited to allow full participation. Further details will be shared in due course on the BALI website, and information on the guest speakers who will make up the panel of designer experts will also be shared at a later date. The event will be open to BALI members and non-members.
